A Life Built Around Family

Born on May 19, 1940, Paul grew up in the Toledo area and attended Macomber High School. His early years were filled with friendships, school activities and the beginnings of a relationship that would eventually become the foundation of his family life.

Paul and Sharon Kowalski shared 63 years of marriage. The two first met as high school sweethearts and went on to build a life together centered around their children and extended family.

Their long marriage became one of the defining parts of Paul’s life, reflecting the devotion and commitment he brought to his family.

A Dedicated Working Life

Paul began his professional career working at an A&P food store before spending many years as a foreman at Chrysler in Perrysburg.

After retiring from Chrysler, Paul continued working alongside Sharon at DiSalle Real Estate Company. He eventually retired completely, giving him more time to focus on his family and the people who meant the most to him.

While his professional life was an important part of his story, his family remained his greatest source of pride.

A Proud Husband, Father and Grandfather

Paul was a loving husband to Sharon and a devoted father to his two sons, John and Gary.

He was also a proud grandfather to Ben, Adam, Jacob, Kayla and Chad, and a great-grandfather to Graham, Ruby and Logan.

His family remembers him as someone who made a point of being present for the important moments in their lives. Whether attending sporting events, music programs, honors assemblies or other family milestones, Paul made sure those closest to him knew that their accomplishments mattered.

His presence at those events reflected a simple but powerful message: he was proud of his family and wanted to share their important moments.
